Donna`s Diner in Spokane Valley

Excellent "homemade" styled food. Biscuits and Gravy were delicious and the Reuben was beyond good. 10 Stars.

I always order the chicken fried steak wherever I go for breakfast. For me this is the litmus test and Donna’s passes this test with delightful ease. The only downside to Donna’s is their location. . . they belong in North Idaho or the panhandle of Texas- somewhere with a more down home local dinner magic- not Spokane 😏 But then they have their own magic that makes up for being surrounded by city.

Was busy when we came in, so no tables but worth the wait and the food was delicious. Decently priced for home-cooked-quality food.Would recommend

First time here but I do feel that a trend will soon develop. This place has some of the best biscuits and gravy that I have had in years. Cant wait to be hungry again to go back.

The food was great. The service was great and we really had a great visit with the staff and it was nice to learn the history of the place. We were welcomed like regulars and it was our first time there! It's truly a down home diner. The only area that would keep me from going back is the prices. They are higher than similar places. Having said that they do make all of their soups in house and when you order fries they cut up a potato (or two) and fry it up so their food is super fresh and delicious so maybe that's why their prices are a bit higher. Stop in and try it one day, just remember that they close early.

This place is delicious! We were looking for something different for breakfast, and stumbled upon this little diner. Their omelettes and amazing, and the pancakes are the size of your head. I highly recommend!!

Good food and good service, I I have a suggestion I think there should be coffee pots on the tables especially on busy days. This little Cozy Cafe is located right around the corner from my home and I will definitely be back even without coffee on my table😊😁

I think this is a nice, homey little eatery with a very casual atmosphere. I like the reading glasses available at each table, which tells you a little about some of their most frequent customers. My most recent meal here is pictured. I had the special of the day: a 2-egg ham and cheese omelet with "taters and toast" and coffee. I added jam on the toast and hot sauce on the eggs (they provide a bottle of Fletcher's on each table). The potatoes are really good - not over-salted just the right amount of crispy. My co-worker had the pigs in blankets, which I will probably get the next time I visit Donna's. Three individual link sausages rolled up in their own full-size pancake "blanket" with syrup to dip. Yum!

Food and service are always great. People are super nice and love the atmosphere of the old school diner. The menus always has great choices from breakfast to lunch. I’ve never gone wrong eating here.

Hometown restaurant with super nice staff! Definitely a locals place but we will be back next time through! Portions were huge & food was very good. I had the special- it was a French toast sandwich with egg, cheese & ham. He had the potatoes, ham, egg dish.

Comfy place overall, as are the stools at counter. Great place for good food and casual chit-chat. Donna seems to know a bit about antique cars, too.

Great service and great food! This is the perfect place to go for a "mom & pop" sit down. This diner is not all loud and hip hoppy it is very quiet and comfortable.

Food was average. Not a bad place to eat however it definitely does not deserve it's current 4 star rating. Would rate it 3.6 at best.

Friendly traditional diner! Yummy traditional food, servers are chatty and seem to enjoy their customers! Lots of housemade items

Love this little friendly diner. Great food, with fast service and a personal touch. I would like to eat here every day for breakfast if I could. But then I would probably have trouble getting though the door. The portion sizes are enormous. Enough for two people on one plate! Great coffee and it's so reasonably priced for the food. I love this place!

Donna's Diner was spectacular we took a ride my daughter and I and then we decided we wanted pancakes and the best pancakes I know and town Donna's diner. She was so happy with the service that we got there that she took it upon herself to give the waitress her tip from her own money she didn't have much but she did give her a $5 tip which I thought was very sweet ,thoughtful and considerate. I have a 12 year old these days kids need to learn to appreciate hard working people. So thank you Donna server for the great experience, we will be back again have a blessed year. Great food and loved the atmosphere. My husband and myself were looking for a small mom and pop type breakfast place and were very pleased! Best biscuits and gravy I have had in a long time.

A nice homey diner, friendly servers... good old fashioned home cooking... bring a BIG appetite, you won't leave hungry.Thanks for a great meal!Many regulars which is always a good sign in a city this large with so many places they could choose.

Good food, but the service was not that great

It took 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered it, to long to wait. My egg came with a one inch piece of egg shell on the top. There is no way the cook didn't see it. The food was just average. It is hard to enjoy food when it comes out with unexspected toppings. I'm surprised the waitress didn't see the egg shell. Makes you wonder what else is in your food that you can't see.

An old fashioned breakfast diner. The food was great and one has to love the homemade apricot jam as well as the reading glasses on everytable. The hot sauce is even for sale, so one can take little flavor home

I grabbed breakfast to go. 3 #20s. Hashbrowns, eggs, and 2 biscuits and gravy. It was delicious, hot, and ready when I got there. Donna's Diner always has friendly staff and quality food. Thank you!

This has been one of the best breakfast spots I have discovered in Spokane. Everything from the food to the staff was beyond excellent. This will be my new breakfast spot to take the family to!!!!!
